Danny's Birthday!

So we had an awesome weekend celebrating Danny's 23rd birthday! Saturday we went to a secret location for part of Danny's brithday present from me....the second part will be done on May 5th so that is when we will reveal the secret location and what my present to him was! then later that night we went to eat at the Ruby's on the Balboa Island Pier


And we surprised Danny with a bunch of people from the youth group to there to have dinner with us. It was Sara, Jenny, Alex Jeff, Angela, Greg, Ashley, Vanessa, Kendall and I think I might have forgotten a couple but yeah, it was wayyy fun. Danny got a couple gift certificates and some rad cards hahah. Then on Sunday we went down to the BJ's Pizza in Laguna Beach for dinner with Danny's aunt Jackie, John (it was his birthday too) Joshua, Kiana, Jacob, and Mikaela. It was super fun, we got a huge Pazooki with every kind of cookie and it was finished in under 10 minutes. sooooo goood. We walked around a bit then went home. Then on Monday, Danny's actual birthday we had a good dinner of steak and potatoes with the Dunn's (mmmmmmmm goood) and then we went to my house to have cake with my fam! All in all we ate a ton and Danny said it was his favorite birthday yet!

Honeymoon

So God has blessed us sooo abundantly! Just the fact that we are His is enough to stand in awe of Him! All the blessings that He has poured out in the last 11 months have been absolutely amazing. All the wedding plans and changes have been hard at times but God is always so faithful, and His plan always turns out better than ours would have! His timing is perfect and we are soooooo excited to see what He does next!
So as far as a honeymoon, we have been alllll over the place. First we were sure we wanted to go to Ireland...that was wayyyyy tooo expensive , so then we thought New York would be awesome, and it was looking like that would be the place, but it was still a tad pricey, so we were going to just go stay at a nice hotel down in San Diego/ Carlsbad area. Then this past Saturday we were at Danny's aunt's house and she asked us what we were planning on doing. She asked us i f we wanted a week of her time share!!! What a blessing! It would be at no cost to us!!!! All we would have to pay for was our flight and food. So we went on the computer and looked up where in the US we could go, Destin Florida. Oh what a name. =) The Club Destin Resort in Destin Florida was the only one that came up for the day after the wedding. We looked at the resort and it is so nice! We put a hold on it and Aunt Jakie called yesterday and said it was ours! We booked our flight yesterday as well. God is SOOOO GOOOD! So we fly to Pensacola FL, on Sunday the 12th and fly HOME to Colorado on the 19th. O my gosh we are more stokked than you can believe! Praise God, He always works thing out!

Registering

Soooo we have had so much fun registering for house stuff! Above are the three places all of our house is at! =) Check it out, let us know what you want to get us =) haha Just kidding, but really, we will probably add a few more things, as you will see most is kinda expensive....but you know ....go big or don't go at all right? We are sooooo stokked. Oh and a few other things Danny would love- Signed Steven Gerrard Jersey, a soccer field in our backyard and hmmmm thats good.

What's New?

Not tooo much going on in our lives! we just got passes to the gym again..haha we both haven't gone in sooooo long, it should be fun. Let's see what else, I can cooook!! I made dinner, I can cook now and Danny actually likes it! Thats quite new and exciting, oh and its Danny's 23rd birthday on Monday! His golden birthday....you know; he is turning 23 on the 23rd....ya. We are gonna go eat on Saturday at the Ruby's on the pier. It should be spectacular =) Wanna know what I got Danny for his birthday? Well, you gotta wait, he will get it on Saturday...long story I will put up some pictures later! See you later!

Our House

This is our house. We love it. It looks like a mini castle, or even a little cottage.
Actually, its not ours. but we still love it! We found it when we were driving through Santa Ana....the nice part =) One day we will have one that looks like this =) O man.

Another One!

Soooo we are almost done planning our last trip out to Colorado until we officially move there...We are going July 17th-22nd. The interesting part is that we will be driving there....yes driving....a rental van, you know, not a mini van, but a creepy person van hahah. We are taking our couches and allll of our stuff that we don't need in CA. It will be fun. We are gonna try to do it in one day, or i should say night, we are gonna leave right after youth group on Tuesday and drive allll night. We are excited. But definitely keep us in prayer! But we are flying back home. Sooo what else has been going on? Well I am house sitting and dog sitting. The Hull family's house and their ginormous bull mastiff Monster. (actually her name is Cheyenne but if she was mine her name would be Monster) Derrick Hull is going to be the Pastor marrying me and Danny and their oldest daughter, Hailey, will be our flower girl. =) I'll put up pictures later of the dog and the girls!

Mohawk!!!!

Okay so tonight Danny wanted to shave all his hair off, I guess it feels better shorter, sooo we decided to have some fun with it. So we shaved a mohawk! It was way fun, and he looked pretty hard core for the 15 minutes we kept it for, then just as fast as his rock & roll hair style went in, it went out and now he is just the usual short haired Daniel- which of course I love ! We have a few pictures from our crazy night...hahah yes this is considereed crazy....wow we truly have fun doing the most random things. I can't wait til tomorrow. You will see why!!! Oh and Happy Almost Good Friday!!!

Random

Okay so I just found this picture. I love it. It is me and Megan when we were in Kenya at Masai Mara, I think it was the end of our safari and there was this joke about someone being a "nancy" (a girly guy or a coward i guess) and so we would tell them "to stop being such a nancy." One day Danny and some other people were watching soccer and this guy dove and the other player made this hand signal like the one in the picture, and Danny said "what a nancy" and i asked him if that was what the hand signal that the guy made stood for; a nancy. They said yes so throughout the whole africa trip we all did that hand movement every time someone was being a woose....hahha sooo random i know.

Back From Colorado!

Sooo we just got back from an amazing trip to Colorado! It was soooo fun! We flew in on Thursday night, there was a little snow on the ground =) and David, his girlfriend Milena, and Andrew picked us up. We got to the house (not before seeing TWO TORNADOS! Scary, scary!) And Grandpa Jack, Debbie and Erik were alll there! It was soo nice to see everyone again. Friday we went and saw Shooter, it was pretty good, lots of killing though! And then we went to the Outlets which is always a great time! Friday night Debbie took me and Milena to a Pampered Chef party put on by one of the Lady's that goes to their church, it was fun and we got some great stuff, while the boys went out and had a guys night. Then on Saturday Debbie took me and Danny to look at apartments =) and then we all went to this amazing park not too far from the house called "Garden of the Gods" though we like to call it "Garden of God". As you will see in the pictures it was a lot of fun and really gorgeous! We had a picnic there too which was a blast. Then we went to Park Meadows mall, a little bigger than Mission Viejo Mall and it has two huge fireplaces which is nice. we watched Borat that night....Danny and I both didn't like it at all...it was really really stupid. Sunday was awesome too! We went to Cornerstone Communtiy Church with the whole family and had an amazing time! The people were sooo awesome, and the worship was great and the sermon as well. After church we went to a neighbors house for brunch and went and walked in downtown Castle Rock for a bit then relaxed and hung out the rest of the day until we left for the airport. The trip was such an amazing blessing and soooo fun. God truly showed me and Danny a lot while we were there and we are so excited to be moving there! Here are tons of pictures!
