7 Months!

Wow, Praise be to our God! We give Him all the glory for making our first seven months together more fun, exciting, hard, and graceful than we ever could have comprehended! God has blessed us so abundantly with our apartment, family, friends, church etc. etc. Marriage is such an amazing picture of Christ and the church. The call to husbands and wives in Ephesians has been our focus since we have gotten married. We pray that God would help us to be godly spouses toward eachother and glorify Him through our marriage. Whats going on now you ask?
Well a few future "plans" ( I put that in parenthesis since God's plans are probably better/ different =) ) are Danny is hoping to go to Red Rocks Community COllege in the fall! He wants to finish his firefighting classes and take some more that will help him get a firefighting job. We are hoping our car in CA will sell ASAP because for our 1 year anniversary we are planning to go to Hawaii and we need to be able to pay for the trip =) that would always help.!! ( well actually Kauai but you get the picture!). Anyways, what else? Our lease is up in September and we are praying for God's guidance but most likely know what we might do (Dont worry it doesn't involve moving out of Castle Rock) =0) There are a few other things going on but I will post them as soon as the people who dont know.......find out!! (exciting things...not about danny and I....no babies...yet)

Breckenridge, Vail & Copper Colorado!

This past week 3 of Danny's friends (Evan, Josh & Glen) drove up to Breckenridge to snowboard for a week or so. They called us and said they have extra room in their cabin and would love for us to come stay for a little while!! We were sooooo excited! We had been to Breckenridge for our honeymoon in the Summer, but never in winter! We drove for about an hour and 45 minutes and got to the cabin! Breck is just as beautiful in the winter as it is in the summer! The night we got up there we went out to eat at the same restaurant we went to on our honeymoon, an amazing steak house called Kenosha. It was so much fun fellowshipping with them, we haven't seen them since before the wedding. We hung out some more that night and then the next day the 3 guys went snowboarding and Danny and I went on an adventure! We started out our morning with a yummy breakfast at The Crown! (our fave place in Breck!) Then went on the gondola ride up and back down the mountain, then went drove to Copper Mountain and then to Vail, which was only 30 minutes from Breck!! We ate lunch at The Blue Moose Pizzeria in Vail (its soooooooooo amazing!) we walked around the little town and then drove back to the cabin and had dinner with everyone. We left a little early because the snow was really coming down! It was soooo nice to get away, even if it was only for a few days! Here are a few pictures! What's Going On?

Hello!! We have been chugging along nicely here in beautiful (today its 73 degrees!) Castle Rock, Colorado! Praise God! This morning I decided to put on shorts and flip flops! It felt weird since we haven't done that in over 4 months! Though tomorrow its supposed to drop to 30 and snow.... we will take what we can get! Today I hung a bunch of thins up and spruced up the place a bit! And since its March 1st I officially decorated for St. patrick's Day!!! SOoooooo fun! We are actually having a St. Patty's Day party on the 15th! It will be very green and very fun! Danny is working today and tonight I am making dinner and then we are off to watch the UFC fights at the in-laws! More updates to come!
