COLD!!!!!

We woke up this morning ready for the day. We were VERY happy about it being Friday, because Friday's are fun. And because that means all the plans for the weekend are almost here. We decided since I didn't have to be at work until 12:30 and Danny didn't have to be there until 9:30am that we would get our butts to the gym. Soooooo Danny always wears shorts, and I was wearing pants.. we get out the door, and its cold. I mean its been cold for a few months so thats not much different, but it was REALLY cold. So we get in our car and the temp gauge says -5 FARENHEIT. Yeah the record....at least since we have lived here....... Anyways just wanted to share that! Unfortunately we didnt have a camera handy so we didn't cathc this cold moment forever....but I have a strange feeling it might happen again.

Best Friends and Kitties!

So Monday morning I picked up two of the most important people in my life (besides Danny, he's my number 1) at DIA (Denver International Airport) Kendall Price AKA Kenny and Vanessa VandenBosch AKA Bud. We had tons of fun, and it was sooo nice to see them after over 4 months of only phone calls! We went up to the mountains to sled, even though it was mostly just sinking into the foot and a half, got stuck a few times in the snow with the car, went to happy hour for cheap but yummy appetizers at Maggianos in Denver and did some shopping in Denver as well. We watched Elf a feww times and just had tons of fun catching up! Here are a few pictures, but we have tons more, I will post those later!

Just a big ball of fur! They are sooooo cute!

Murph in a box of peanuts!!

I think they like the cats more than us.

Decorating/ Getting Our First Tree for Christmas!

Our first Christmas experience has been a great one so far. We went to King Soopers to get our tree tonight, it was a warm 24 degrees with no wond and lots of great trees to choose from, we decided on the cheaper and prettier, Great Fir...or something like that!!

Just like boogers, we always pick the best Christmas trees.

We decided (since we forgot string or rope) that we would make it fit in the car!

On our way home, see it in the back?

Our decorated little kitchen.

Danny's from when he was a baby on the left mine on the right! and a cat.

All done!!!! With one present..hmmmmm could it be a new purse???? =)

Trying to Write/Update Everyday!

So this post is probably just gonna be me rambling!!!

I am so excited!! Guess what??!!! My mom is making another trip up here and she flys in on Friday!!!! Wooo Hoo! Its sooo fun that she can do that, even though I do miss my dad on these mom-only trips! We are gonna cook a lot, and bake and watch Rachel Ray =). Danny actually bought tickets a while ago to see Flogging Molly in Downtown Denver on Saturday night, and an extra ticket for Andrew to go with us for his birthday, so that when my mom will play with her grandkitties, and bake!! We are very excited, it will be lots of fun! Hmmm what else? Oh, we are getting new tires for our Xterra tomorrow! We need them badly because of the snow! We are supposed to get flurries I think tomorrow yay! I love the snow, its kinda scary to drive in it but its tons of fun to play in!

A Long Time

Its been quite a long time since I have written about what God is doing in our lives. And it is sooo important that He gets the glory for ALL things that are going on. Now that we live in Colorado, and now that we both work full-time, and now that things are just a tad busier than they were when we lived in CA and weren't married, its been hard to just sit, not to mention together as husband and wife. But wait, I am not complaining by any means, I loooove our life! I am just saying things have changed! We are adults! Weird huh? I really don't feel like i am 20....and its weird that I am married (cool but weird) anyways its just so crazy how time flys. I can remember sitting at my house in CA with Danny thinking 'Ohhh my goooshhhh it seems like the wedding is soooooo far away!' And now I cant believe we have been married almost 4 months! That would be the first praise! Being married is such an amazing picture of Christ and the Church. God has taught us so incredibly much about grace, patients, love and selflessness through being married and it has been such a blessing! We both have good jobs that we can afford our beautiful home with and all of the other fun things we like to do, so we defiinitely praise God for blessing us with that!!Probably one of the other biggest things for both of us is our families. They have been soooooo encouraging, helpful and supportive ever since we started dating, they have helped us in so many ways, pouring out God's love in their hearts. We also have been blessed to be at an awesome, God centered church Cornerstone Community Church, which we have gotten involved with the Highschool Youth Group...actually kinda started it, they are new so they didnt have one before. And hopefully soon, Danny is going to be teaching! He is so excited, and studying and the kids are tons of fun. It truly just amazes us how faithful our God is, even when we are not, and I can tell you He has been so gracious with us! All praise goes to God for our lives, we are so happy to be servants for Him!

High School Youth Group Snow Day

Yesterday we got up nice and early and met 6 others at the church. We headed up to the Rockies to go sledding (up in Winter Park area)!!!! It was sooooo much fun! We got tons of snow while we were up there and found some crazy hills to go down. We also ate at the world famous Beau Jo's Pizza in Idaho Springs, and of course stopped for something hot to drink on our way home!
