Fireproof

Tuesday Danny and I both had the day off! It's so nice when we do so we went to Starbucks for breakfast (their new egg, sausage and cheddar biscuit sadwiches are amazing!) and then went to the mall, and The Buddy Center ( animal shelter....just to look =) and the went to see the movie Fireproof. it was amazing. It was about a fire fighter and his wife who don't know God and their marriage at first is really rocky - I won't giuve it away but what we got out of it (besides a face full of tears for me...not Danny =) was that God HAS to be the center of our marriage! He is our sovereign Lord and is in control of our marriage anyway! We HIGHLY recommend it!
-Update on Danny's fire fighting tests
- On his first Physical Agility test he got an 89 out of 100
- On his second one (this past Sunday) he got a 95 out of 100 on the Physical Agility Test!! Praise God!!!
- His next test is October 11th and it is a written test!
Please pray that God would give him dilligence to study hard and concentrate. And on the day of his test that he would not second guess himself but would trust that God will do His will!!!!!

What's Been Going On?

Its been awhile! So we have been doing a lot lately! First and foremost we have moved into Danny's parents house-which is going well and we are thankful to have somewhere to live. We are excited that the Gammie's and Hull's now live here in Colorado, down in Colorado Springs where we have been hanging out and catching up with them a lot lately. We are praising God for all the things he has blessed us with and for always loving us! Our life is great and we are loving Colorado! We are both working a lot which is fine and Danny has his West Metro Fire Dept. test on September 28th so please pray that God would give him strength!

Chris Tomlin's New Song

This song is amazing! Especially if you are having a hard time, thats why Chris Tomlin wrote it.
Life is about Christ- All of life- not just bits and pieces- through Him you have to lay down EVERYTHING.

I Will Rise
There’s a peace I’ve come to know though my heart and flesh may fail
There’s an anchor for my soul, I can say, it is well
Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won, He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when he calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagle’s wings
Before my God, fall on my knees
And rise, I will rise
There’s a day that’s drawing near when this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear and my faith shall be my eyes
And I hear the voice of many angels sing worthy is the lamb
And I hear the cry of every longing heart worthy is the lamb
