We Arrived!- Lake Michigan!

So we arrived safely last night! Julie and Eric picked us up at Chicago- Midwayand took us to Rick and Marge's beautiful brick home. Where julie and Eric's 2 year old daughter, Sarah, was waiting. She is so cute. We had pizza and hung out for a while! And today we are going with Julie and Eric and some people to Lake Michigan to go water skiing!!!!!

Friday & Getting Ready

Packing For The Windy City!

So as you probably know we always wait til the last minute to pack for anything =) As of 8:21pm tonight all we have done is some laundry! But that is why we both have Friday off and we don't leave until Saturday! We are sooo excited! Tomorrow is our Friday and on the actualy Friday we have a busy day. We are going to try to start packing our house up to move and pack for our trip, plus we are taking the youth group on a hike for a couple hours and I am going to breakfast with a friend! It should be a great start to our time off! Them we leave for the Denver International Airport at 12:00 on Saturday! Sooo exciting! We will put some pictures up...as soon as we do something =) Nighty Night!

My New Favorite Running/ Workout Attire

So a couple months ago they put a new Spectrum like place at the Park Meadows mall- now for those of you who know what the Spectrum is the new outside shopping area at the PM Mall is on a MUCH MUCH smaller scale. Anyways- so we are just strolling along deciding which new stores to go into and we see this store with a very peculiar name - Lululemon. Peculiar huh? YES. SOOooooo we go in only to find out it is an extremely fun new place that carries workout/yoga/running attire with an every-day-wear appearance. Can I tell you that I was STOKKED? =) Yeah their stuff is quite pricey but you just can't help getting a few things. So far I have purchased a pair of white running shorts with a small zipper pocket on the back which nicely holds my iPod-I love them. A sports bra that I am very satisfied with , and an awesome seamless shirt that feels like Heaven! (All of their things are seamless to prevent chaffing)

A Yummy Dinner

Tonight we had our favorite- well at least our favorite kind of chicken- its brined for about an hour and a half in the Liquid Brine you see below, then when its ready to come off I put a dry rub on it which is a tad spicy but not when you only put a pinch! We also had Parmesan flavored Couscous mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.! And then there is Murphy..... =)

One Year Ago!!!! (More pics to come)

Yesterday was our first anniversary! Though we were both under the weather it was still an awesome day we had off work together! I can't believe a year has already passed! It seems like just yesterday we were dancing our first dance at our wedding! It has been such a blessing to live here in Colorado and that past year has been the best of our lives! We pray the next one is even better!

Kitties, Movies & Planning A Trip!

So yesterday we saw Hancock with a few friends after eating some amazing "Cookie Doughn't You Want Some" ice cream at Coldstone. The movie was good. Not the best but pretty good. There was a lot more cussing than we antisipated but it was a fun movie. We got some fun pictures of the kitties being themselves! And we just bought our tickets to Chicago! We leave August 30th and get back September 6th! We are sooooo excited to get away for a late 1st anniversary trip. Yes, our anniversary is in about a week! I can't believe its almost been a year!
