God's amazing encouragement.

Today was really hard for me. I always get really emotional when I have to tell a company I work for I will be leaving, especially when its a company I truly love, and I love the people as well, Sole Technology was such an awesome company and sooo much fun, not to mention I looove getting free shoes and clothes =) But anyways a lot of people were praying for me, and God truly took over the situation and gave me the strength to just spit it out and not cry! Yes i get THAT emotional! Here is an awesome verse that is very encouraging in the situation of leaving to where God has called Danny and I.

Matthew 28:19-20
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

Its awesome isn't it? God is with us always! When we have to go to our bosses office by ourselves and let them know we are leaving, HE IS THERE! When you have to go out late at night to get something, HE IS THERE, when there is a car accident and you are in the ambulance HE IS THERE, at our wedding GOD will be there! He is so awesome and I depend to depend on Him. It so comforting to know that the God of the universe is ALWAYS around! Its convicting too! Which is good! God is so good.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light for my path.

This is another awesome verese that tells the story of why we are moving and why we are getting married. He has shown us the way we will go to most glorify Him. It is for us to get married, and become one flesh and to move to Colorado and do His work with His strength, His light has lit the path that we are to go and with His strength we will follow Him all of our days!

God's AMAZING faithfulness & His people

I don't even know where to start. God is incredibly incredible, actually He is Indescribable. So we were planning on driving out to Colorado July 17th in a mini van or something similar without our couches (the ones my best friend and her family gave us) since they wouldn't fit, but we thought "no biggie we will get them when we can." So they price to rent a large car like that was kinda high but we had to do it to get all our stuff out there. So last night, Erik (Danny's dad) called and told us Brent & Lindsay (the pastor in Colorado's son and daughter-in-law) were going to be driving down to California and that they want to help us out by bringing their huge trailer for us to put our stuff on!!!!!!!! Like everything! PRAISE GOD!!!!! He does such amazing things! Now we will save a ton of money and get all of our stuff out and man we are sooo excited and SOOOO THANKFUL! I don't think anyone understands how much of a blessing it is! And all the poeple that are encouraging us, and helping us with everything has been such a blessing, it really touches my heart!!!! God is sooo good and faithful, and does things that are just welll i don't even know! All glory to our GOD!!!!!

Lauren's Bachelorette party!!!

The Bachelorette party was soooo amazing and incredibly fun!!!! The girls surprised me by taking me to Downtown Pasadena, you know, the famous Colorado Street (Haha they said they didn't do that on purpose) and we stayed at the amazing Westin Hotel which has the heavenly beds, and yes, they ARE heavenly and wonderful! We did lots of shopping, lots of walking around, presents, food at Ruth's Chris Steakhouse, (which is the best place in the world!), dressing up, playing crazy games and yummy necklaces......the best part of all of it was being able to spend one last night with all my best girl friends, it was so nice to be with the girls, and to have them pray over me, it was emotional because I will be leaving all of them. But God is so good, and we all know that He is in control, and that He is bringing all of us to the next season in our lives and that it is going to be more amazing than we could ever comprehend. I am so excited that they are all going to be in the wedding and I feel so blessed that God gave me them to grow up with, to go through hard times with, to go through good tiumes, and just be crazy with. It was such an amazing weekend and I could never thank them enough for all they have done for me. I love you guys!!!

Getting down to the wire!!!

Everything is coming together! We have almost everything done for the wedding! Our invitations are just about all out, and we are getting replys already! The shower invitations have gone out! the shower is in less than 3 weeks! Our trip to Colorado has finally come together! Praise God, we thought it might not work out because Enterprise Rent-A-Car doesn't let you take the car out of CA, AZ or NV. So we (my mom) did some research and found Avis. they are greatness! And so now we will be renting a large SUV or mini-van and driving out Tuesday morning and dropping it off at the Avis in Castle Rock, then the day before we go home we will re-rent a small car (to save gas money) and drop it off at SNA airport! Oh how smart we are! =) So thats all good! God is so amazing! Everything is great. Even in the problems and frustrations of the day we see God's glory! Here is an awesome quote from the book we are reading called "The Sovereugnty of God" by A.W. Pink. "If God is the creator of all that exists, and HE created the weather, if you complain about the weather, in essence you are complaining about God." He does everything for a reason and it will always turn out to His glory!!!! Sooo what else? Well, we have been exercising a whole bunch together which has been really fun. And nice to know I will be in shape for the wedding!
This weekend is my bachelorette party so I am extremely excited!!!!! Its gonna be amazing. None of my girls have told me anything about it or about where we are going so that makes it even better! There will definitely be more details after the weekend!!! WOOOOO!!!!

Flowers!

On Sunday me and Danny went down to the Graden Room to pick out our flowers! It was so fun and I think it got us both excited about everything even more. We are going to have white roses, dark blue belladonna, a small bit of violet freesia, and white stephanotis. For those of you who aren't experts at flowers here are pictures =)

So when they are alll together they look awesome! We are soooo excited! Everything is going so well! Praise God for that! There is now less than TWO months until the wedding! Kepp us in your prayers!

Updates

So with the wedding less than a week over 2 months away things are reallly starting to come together! Its soooo exciting! We are more than stokked for the big day. Sooo what are we currently up to/ working on? Well Danny is working the night shift at Vons grocery store so he leaves around 9:15pm and gets home around 6:30am. He is also working at Mission Hills Christian School, he was the soccer coach but the season is now over so he will be working at the summer camp program. I am still full time at Sole Technology (Etnies) which is fun. Life is good!

We are sending out invites right now which has been way fun, and this weekend we go to finalize our flowers! Its been so fun, by God's grace of course! We are also planning our trip out to Colorado in July, we will be driving so we have lots to figure out about that!More to come!

Memorial Weekend!

This weekend was a blast!! Sunday we went to the wonderfully wet Seaworld!! It was soooo much fun! Here are the pictures!

Amazing Grace

-Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound...........
-It's a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.
-It's a great thing to fall into the hands of sovereign grace.
-We are worthy of being slain.
-The thoughts of our hearts were only evil continually.
-We are no better than the sinners that murder, rape, or don't love the Lord their God with everything they are at all times.

NOW WHATS THE GOOD NEWS?

-Now through Christ we have a righteousness!
-It is not based upon the Law!
-BASED UPON GOD'S GRACE
-Made clean by God's grace.
-As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us!
-We can now approach His thrown boldly.
-Not based AT ALL on us, THROUGH CHRIST ALONE!!!!
-While we were still sinners, Christ died for us!
-All the glory goes to God!
-He made us who were dead in trespasses and sins alive IN CHRIST!!!
-By grace we have been saved
-God's grace is sooo sweeet.
-Grace is always free.
-Where sin abounds, grace abounds much more!
-He remembers our sin no more.
-His strength is made perfect in our weakness!
-His grace is eternal!


These are notes from a sermon by Pastor Kevin Otsuji called "Sovereign Grace" It was so amazing the way God revealed to me how much guilt we can hold onto when we sin, but that in itslef is a sin because holding onto the guilt of any little or big sin is saying that the death of Christ on the cross was not sufficient to cover your sins. Remember God is ALWAYS good!

One Year!

Praise God! Yesterday was awesome, this whole weekend was awesome and busy! Friday, for our one year anniversary, Danny surprised me and took me to Disneyland!!!! It was sooooo much fun! It was just us and it was sooo nice! We ate a lot, we ate pizza and soup at Naples in Downtown Disney and of course had churros. We went on Space Mountain, The Materhorn, Indiana Jones, The Haunted Mansion, and of course Splash Mountain! What a blast. Saturday night we went to my friends' wedding! Jade Gutierrez and Jake Allen became one Saturday night! SOooooo awesome. It was beautiful, and we partied and danced all night it was sooo much fun! Sunday, the actual day of our one year waas sooo relxing , we only relaxed and went to the mall to get some wedding stuff taken care of. SO that was our amazing, fantastic weekend!
