The First Snow of the Year!
So last night was the first "snow" of the year! I put it in parenthesis because it was only a small dusting but still way fun and beautiful!! I love living here because each season is soooo different that I find myself loving and getting excited for each one. We have a few updates. Its actually kind of funny when (like in my last post) I write about what IS going to happen because God always has a BETTER plan =) He is amazing. Danny didn't pass his fire test and will not be taking EMT this Winter but he is turning in an application to Franktown (just a few miles away) to do volunteer fire fighting where he can also get his Fir Fighter 1 certification so from now on we will be posting as things happen! God is goood!!

Pictures and Updates and Things We Forgot!
We just found the connector for our camera to the computer! Which means we have a lot of catching up to do! As I write this Danny is taking his written test for West Metro Fire Dept! We are praying that God would give him the wisdom he needs, and we know He is in control! We will keep you updated! That is actually most of what is going on lately. I have been doing a lot of paper work and computer things lately to get Danny all registered and set up for EMT at Arapahoe Community College. Our Pastor's son and his wife live 3 houses down and the husband (Brent) will be taking CPR on the 14th with Danny and the EMT class in November, so that will be nice for them to have someone to car pool with and study with . Me and Lindsay (Brent's wife) have been hanging out a lot trying to figure out all the paper work for the boys! Its been a long process but it will surely pay off. Work is going well for me, I really do like my job a lot , but we are praying about me talking to my boss about becoming a vet assistant. It's different than a Vet Tech because Vet Tech's have to go to school but not vet assistants, so hopefully I can, we will see. We are hoping to go out to CA October 30th - November 3rd but we just found out that Daniel's Oral Interview's start November 3rd so we will see!
The Rockies Game
Singing the National Anthem!
The "other" team....they ended

The Kitties

The dancing robot took our picture
They also had a chick hatchery!!!!
We went to the Irish-American Heritage Center!
The beautiful brick houses in Prospect Heights, Ill.
We had soooo much fun!

Fireproof
Tuesday Danny and I both had the day off! It's so nice when we do so we went to Starbucks for breakfast (their new egg, sausage and cheddar biscuit sadwiches are amazing!) and then went to the mall, and The Buddy Center ( animal shelter....just to look =) and the went to see the movie Fireproof. it was amazing. It was about a fire fighter and his wife who don't know God and their marriage at first is really rocky - I won't giuve it away but what we got out of it (besides a face full of tears for me...not Danny =) was that God HAS to be the center of our marriage! He is our sovereign Lord and is in control of our marriage anyway! We HIGHLY recommend it!
-Update on Danny's fire fighting tests
- On his first Physical Agility test he got an 89 out of 100
- On his second one (this past Sunday) he got a 95 out of 100 on the Physical Agility Test!! Praise God!!!
- His next test is October 11th and it is a written test!
Please pray that God would give him dilligence to study hard and concentrate. And on the day of his test that he would not second guess himself but would trust that God will do His will!!!!!

What's Been Going On?
Its been awhile! So we have been doing a lot lately! First and foremost we have moved into Danny's parents house-which is going well and we are thankful to have somewhere to live. We are excited that the Gammie's and Hull's now live here in Colorado, down in Colorado Springs where we have been hanging out and catching up with them a lot lately. We are praising God for all the things he has blessed us with and for always loving us! Our life is great and we are loving Colorado! We are both working a lot which is fine and Danny has his West Metro Fire Dept. test on September 28th so please pray that God would give him strength!

Chris Tomlin's New Song
This song is amazing! Especially if you are having a hard time, thats why Chris Tomlin wrote it.
Life is about Christ- All of life- not just bits and pieces- through Him you have to lay down EVERYTHING.
I Will Rise
There’s a peace I’ve come to know though my heart and flesh may fail
There’s an anchor for my soul, I can say, it is well
Jesus has overcome and the grave is overwhelmed
The victory is won, He is risen from the dead
And I will rise when he calls my name
No more sorrow, no more pain
I will rise on eagle’s wings
Before my God, fall on my knees
And rise, I will rise
There’s a day that’s drawing near when this darkness breaks to light
And the shadows disappear and my faith shall be my eyes
And I hear the voice of many angels sing worthy is the lamb
And I hear the cry of every longing heart worthy is the lamb

Famous Gino's Pizza!
The pizza here and the atmosphere are amazing! You can write on the walls (which as you will see we did) and the pizza was the best we have ever had! It was so deep dish that you get full on just the crust!
Here it is!
Awesome!
Danny- REALLY enjoying his pizza- as always! (just a little more this time =) )
At The Lego Store on the Magnificent Mile

A picture of the stage before the show(that big beige curtain is a map of Oz)
